Slow Looking
Slow Down. Look around. Notice what is here.
Join Gill Nicol and Jo Breneger for a gentle two-hour experience in nature. We’ll be taking a slow walk, spending time quietly looking, listening, noticing then connecting through creativity. By observing deeply in nature and responding through the small act of drawing or writing it is possible to step into a more embodied relationship with it.
You don’t need to be an artist or have any experience. Everyone is creative. There is no right or wrong way to take part. There are no right drawings, words or feelings.
We are part of nature, not separate from it. We’ll take time to notice the living world around us and enjoy the benefits of being in nature.
Much of the experience will be quiet, but there will be time to share with others over tea at the end.
Come as you are. Bring your curiosity.
